Today, the last of the builders left our property. There might be the odd tiny bit left to do, but for all intents and purposes, it’s done!

We’d just like to thank you and Dandi for your excellent designs and for convincing us to invest the extra money in the oak beams. They look terrific and we are thrilled with the result.

In addition, I must comment on Burns Build, as I know you recommended them. They have been outstanding from beginning to end. Rod, Tony, and Rory have been extremely attentive and at least one of them has been here a minimum of once a day to keep a check on things. All of the sub-contractors they brought in to undertake specific aspects of the build have been fabulous too. They were respectful that this is our home, so the site was always left clean and tidy. Their work has been to an incredibly high standard, and they were a lovely group of guys.

In a nutshell, your faith in them is extremely well placed and we will recommend Burns Build to our friends without a moment’s hesitation, and MP Architects too of course!

We now look forward to enjoying our summerhouse for years to come.

I would highly recommend MP Architects LLP. We worked with Mark Waudby who is really pleasant to deal with, and a true professional. He was also extremely patient with us. Mark listened carefully to all of our needs and responded with efficiency. He had loads of great suggestions for us, as well as being honest when ideas of our own were unrealistic.
