We used MP Chartered Architects to obtain planning mission for new three-bedroom property on a plot in Upshire in Essex.   We must give a special credit to Tom Wiffen, with regards to the planning application he was relentless in obtaining full approval for us.

I wanted to take a moment to extend our thanks for your exceptional work on the Paslow Common Farm and Woodside Farm projects. Your expertise and dedication have been very much valid.  The quality of your drawings and your continuous support throughout has allowed us to achieve really successful projects to date. We are more than happy to continue recommending your services to anyone in need of skilled architects, and have been doing so already.

Today, the last of the builders left our property. There might be the odd tiny bit left to do, but for all intents and purposes, it’s done!

We’d just like to thank you and Dandi for your excellent designs and for convincing us to invest the extra money in the oak beams. They look terrific and we are thrilled with the result.

In addition, I must comment on Burns Build, as I know you recommended them. They have been outstanding from beginning to end. Rod, Tony, and Rory have been extremely attentive and at least one of them has been here a minimum of once a day to keep a check on things. All of the sub-contractors they brought in to undertake specific aspects of the build have been fabulous too. They were respectful that this is our home, so the site was always left clean and tidy. Their work has been to an incredibly high standard, and they were a lovely group of guys.

In a nutshell, your faith in them is extremely well placed and we will recommend Burns Build to our friends without a moment’s hesitation, and MP Architects too of course!

We now look forward to enjoying our summerhouse for years to come.

Hi Martyn, I just wanted to tell you how pleased James and I are with the rear extension which your team planned for us last year.

We used Stuart Catesby again in the end and the team took around 16 weeks to complete it. It was a good experience. The new build looks terrific and blends in with the old house really well. I keep standing in the new room boring James by telling him yet again how much I like it! But I really am so pleased we did it. With the big windows and double door, the entire garden feels like part of the house, not just a partial view from the kitchen window like it used to be.

The vaulted part of the roof really gives the ‘wow factor’ as does the raised patio. So thanks for those ideas!

I have mentioned in my emails in the past to you how grateful we were to have Dandi remain on our project. I do not think I am able to begin to thank her enough for what she has done for us.
I emailed you about Thornwood, and the quality of the build, but please can you note how Dandi has gone above and beyond what I ever imagined an architect would be able to do. I ask that this email is to be held considerably higher in regard.

Being at the end of a phone, on WhatsApp, and FaceTime, not only during office hours but also when a query or worry arose that we knew she could help with.

I have searched endlessly with RIBA and ARB and then spoken to them about how to officially compliment her as an architect but sadly, I have been informed there is only a complaints procedure and there is no formal route to comment on her excellence.
