MP Chartered Architects successfully gained planning permission in difficult circumstances for the construction of two new properties in the back gardens of two houses on the road behind the Hutton Mount Estate.  The completed houses, designed by the practice, provide comfortable homes with large modern open plan living and kitchen areas.

The developers, Stonebond, already had outline planning permission for new homes but when the full planning application was applied for there were multiple objections from neighbors. It was highlighted that a badger sett was  on the site and there were also issues with protected trees.

After a lengthy process, planning permission was achieved by our practice after a judicial renew. The condition of which was that the badger set had to be relocated to another part of the substantial gardens.
