In 2016 we were commissioned by the owners of this lovely detached house in the Conservation Area in Woodford Green to design substantial extensions and internal alterations to his early twentieth century home.

We first obtained planning permission in July 2017 but we were asked to go back to planning a year later in 2018 to send in a revised design increasing the floor area. Both applications were approved.

We are pleased to say that this project has finally been completed using one of our preferred builders and the resulting extended house is a great improvement on the original layout, providing a separate large spacious utility room and then a large L-shaped kitchen/family room across the rear of the house. The glazing is in black aluminium framing with large glazed patio doors leading onto the new large patio with steps down to the existing garden.

The rest of the home has been fully refurbished to a high standard. The master bedroom to the rear has inward-opening glazed doors with a Juliette balcony overlooking the garden. There is also a dressing area and en-suite bathroom off the master bedroom.
