This site was once a large residential garden, which was mainly unused and too big for the small bungalow that occupied it.
Working with the Harlow planning department we prepared a design for a scheme which looks like a pair of semi-detached houses and a detached house. However, there are 8 flats on the site with parking and garden areas. The sloping site means that from the road the flats aren’t easy to see. It also meant that we were able to design the rear elevations so that they had lots of glazing, and didn’t overlook any of the neighbouring properties and gardens.
