A complimentary single-storey extension, incorporating a further living area for this beautiful grade II listed building.
Our design brief was to create a space that complimented the existing structure.

Due to the rules and regulations normally faced when working on a listed building, we originally pushed the project forward with pre-app. This pre-app received positive feedback from the local Conservation Officer and enabled us to move on confidently with the design drawings and apply for planning permission along with listed building consent.

The vertical external weatherboarding created a mild contrast, providing a perfectly aesthetically pleasing finish.

The pitched roof structure and roof lights gave a great sense of space. Both allowed an abundance of natural daylight and air to flow through the house, onto a welcoming terrace, and into the garden.
