Revit is a building information modelling (BIM) software created by Autodesk. Revit moves beyond 2D drawings allowing us to create 3D models for use in Architectural projects.

For home extensions, new homes and commercial buildings in Essex, we can generate floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, 3D views and renderings quickly and accurately that in turn help our clients and project team to understand and explore our designs.

Structural Engineers and Mechanical & Electrical consultants are also able to add their designs to the model. This allows the client to better visualise their entire project in a 3D view. The programme can be used on all scopes and sizes of schemes and is an exceptionally powerful tool for the duration of design, planning and construction.

A key advantage of using Revit is that it can speed up traditional workflow demand. This is mainly due to the model functioning as a single database for all the project information. Any changes made within the model will automatically update schedules and other views in the project. Every design clash within the model will be highlighted to the user, allowing us to make changes before the drawings are supplied to the client.
