Residential Home Extensions in Essex: Key Considerations
As Autumn approaches, lots of homeowners in Essex are looking for ways to enhance their living spaces before the winter sets in. Creating more room
We work with many established Essex-based Developers on exciting ‘change of use’ projects. We fully understand the rules allowing commercial properties to be converted or demolished into residential housing and our talented Architects regularly navigate successful planning applications for these types of projects.
Our approach is to always offer the client more than they expect and stretch the thought process to be inclusive of attractive housing options on every level.
Last week, plans have been submitted to the local authority for this exciting ‘redevelopment’ project. A former social club with huge potential to be converted into five impressive dwellings.
Our expert Architectural team issued the client with drawings of internal layouts and elevations with two choices of finish. Both designs were forward-thinking, aesthetically pleasing alongside considerations towards sustainability.
Our planning application highlighted the benefit of this additional housing and exceeding the need for an unused social club.
The end goal for our Architectural design team is to create desirable, feasible, viable homes and successful planning permission.
We hope that planning permission will be granted subject to relevant conditions by the end of June, and we look forward to moving on with this project.
